Meet Jassi Dhanjal

I’m Jassi, a North Carolina real estate broker, military spouse, and mom of three. I know what it means to start over somewhere new, figure out where your family fits, and build a life beyond the moving boxes. I’ve done it more than once.
I grew up in Maryland and worked in Washington, D.C., where I developed an appreciation for good food, changing seasons, and being connected to just about everywhere. The traffic? I could have done without that.
After meeting my husband, Army life took us to San Antonio. We loved its character, its people, and a different pace of life. It’s where we welcomed our first two children, but I missed the seasons, the trees, and the ease of getting back to family.
Then another set of Army orders brought us to North Carolina during the pandemic. Even in an unusual time to start over, we found our people. We made friends, built a village, and created a home.
North Carolina brought together so much of what we loved: natural beauty, changing seasons, good food, room to grow, and an airport that keeps us connected. Close enough to family, with a pace of life that felt right for ours. What began as our next assignment became the place we wanted to stay.
Today, my life here is filled with many of the same things yours probably is. I’m a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and neighbor. I’m involved in my children’s school community. I balance work, family commitments, and a calendar that fills up faster than I expect.
Those experiences shape the way I work. When we talk about a home, I’m thinking about the life you’ll live in it. The school run. Your commute. Visiting family. The space you need today and what might change tomorrow.
