Raleigh
From long-standing barbecue institutions to modern Southern tasting menus, Raleigh covers the full range. Transfer Co. Food Hall is the easy answer when the group can't agree.
Cary
The best international food in the region, full stop. Korean, Indian, Vietnamese, and Middle Eastern spots that draw people from across the Triangle.
Small towns
Fuquay-Varina's brewery district and Apex's Salem Street both deliver more than a town that size should. Don't skip them.
